You are not required to be a Seventh-day Adventist to participate in our homeschool Co-op. Yet, you must be committed Christians to participate. Furthermore, it may be helpful for you to know that we will be teaching form this worldview. Though we don't have any Bible classes scheduled for the upcoming semester, it is inevitable that comments on religion will be made. Such comments will be made from a Biblical, Christian, SDA perspective. We expect that all families, regardless of religious background, be comfortable with this foundation. We also have a list of rules that we feel are foundational to having a healthy co-op. Some of these are connect with the unique beliefs of our faith. We will share those with you upon your completion of this survey.

There will be costs and expectations associated with our homeschool co-op. Another document will discuss these in more detail but here are a few important ones that you must know up-front.
1. This is not a drop-off program. Parents are required to attend and participate. Parents will be delegated to areas where they can help.
2. Our starting grade is Pre-K (approx. 4 years old). We do realize that a parent may attend with younger siblings. We ask 2 things of you. First, we ask that your younger children will not be a hinderance or distraction to this program. We have other rooms in the building where they may be taken for feeding or other needs. Second, we will strongly encourage all parents to participate in some way. Consider opportunities for you to give back to the program even if you have a younger child.
3. As homeschooling families, we realize that each child is unique and each set of strengths and weaknesses. Whether your child is the right fit for our group can be a discussion between each parent and the Co-op Administrative Team.
4. We are open to you "trying it out" for one or two weeks to see if we are the right fit for each other.
5. After that, we would like for you to commit to paying $20 per child, per semester and attending regularly.
6. Parents will be responsible for purchasing the designated curriculum for each class and bringing the books with them each week.
7. Some of our classes will require that you study with your child outside of co-op time to keep pace with our lessons. It is important that your child does not fall behind.
